Hadoc terms

Version 1.0 · 23 September 2026

Hadoc is published by Big Space Limited, a New Zealand company. Your use of the app is covered by Apple's standard licence agreement, at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. This page doesn't replace or add to that licence. It explains how things work in Hadoc.

Hadoc is free. There are no accounts, no purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

Your posts are kept on your phone. Everything you write, record or attach is kept in Hadoc's own storage on your iPhone. We have no copy of it, we can't see it, and we claim no rights in it.

We can't recover anything. If you lose your phone, delete the app, or delete a post, we cannot get it back for you. Your iPhone's own backup, to iCloud or a computer, and the exports you make are the only copies there are, so check that your backup is turned on.

Export can give you ordinary files. You can export your record as a file that opens without Hadoc, or as a package that Hadoc can import again. Once you've sent an exported file somewhere, it is outside the app.

The app doesn't depend on us. If we stop publishing Hadoc, nothing switches off: the app stays on your phone with your record in it. We don't promise updates, and a future iOS update could stop it working. Export exists for that day.

What leaves your phone. Hadoc makes no network requests of its own. Our privacy policy, at bigspace.co.nz/hadoc/privacy, sets out the few things that can leave the phone: audio sent to Apple's speech recognition if you allow it, exports you make, your iPhone's backups, and Apple's crash and usage reports if you've turned on Share With App Developers. Apple's licence lets developers collect technical data about your device. Hadoc doesn't, and apart from those reports nothing about your device reaches us unless you tell us yourself.

Support. Email support@bigspace.co.nz. There's no promised response time.

Your rights. Nothing on this page, and nothing in Apple's licence, takes away rights you have under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act, or under the consumer law where you live.

The current version of this page is at bigspace.co.nz/hadoc/terms. The copy inside the app is the one that shipped with the version of Hadoc you have.
