Frequently Asked Questions
What is Zone 2?
Zone 2 is a heart rate zone where you're working at about 60-70% of your maximum heart rate. It's the "conversational pace" where you can still talk comfortably. This is where your body builds aerobic fitness most efficiently—burning fat, strengthening your heart, and building endurance without the stress and recovery time of high-intensity training.
Why no streaks or badges?
Because guilt doesn't build fitness. Streak mechanics and achievement badges are designed to make you feel bad when you miss a day. We believe that leads to anxiety and burnout, not sustainable habits. Ersha is here when you want it, and doesn't judge you when you don't.
What equipment do I need?
You need an iPhone and an Apple Watch. Ersha uses your Apple Watch to read your heart rate in real-time during workouts. The watch displays your current zone so you can adjust your effort accordingly.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your iPhone. Settings sync between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity. We don't have servers. We don't collect your data. It stays on your devices.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual workouts from your history within the app. To delete all data, simply delete the app from your iPhone—since everything is stored locally, deleting the app removes all your data.
